Kasemrad International Hospital — Construction Supervision
2018–2021 | Client: Bangkok Chain International (Lao) Co., Ltd.

Project Overview
Kasemrad International Hospital represents one of the largest private healthcare investments in Laos, with Bangkok Chain International (Lao) Co., Ltd. committing US$40 million to the construction of a modern full-service private hospital in Vientiane Capital. The project was delivered in two phases. Phase 1 — supervised by LCG — comprised site backfilling across 19,160 m², construction of a seven-storey main hospital building (29,195 m²) housing an outpatient department, 38 consultation rooms, dental suites, emergency, radiology, cardiac, rehabilitation, and operating facilities, and a 96-bed inpatient ward, together with a back-of-house services building (2,623 m²) and a five-storey, 69-room staff dormitory (2,756 m²). Phase 2, an expansion phase, is planned to add a 12-storey ward complex and carpark building with 144 additional beds, 29 consultation rooms, and parking for 456 vehicles.
LCG’s Role
LCG was contracted by Bangkok Chain International to provide full construction supervision services for Phase 1 over a 36-month period. LCG’s resident supervision team reviewed and monitored contractor work programmes and weekly and monthly schedules; reviewed and approved construction materials and design changes; coordinated client-procured materials; reviewed and approved shop drawings; conducted quality control inspections; certified payment claims; managed site coordination meetings; and administered final inspection, accounts, and handover. Reporting was provided to the client on both a weekly and monthly basis throughout the construction period.
Impact
Kasemrad International Hospital has raised the bar for private healthcare in Vientiane Capital, providing patients with access to a modern, well-equipped multi-specialty facility. LCG’s role in ensuring construction quality, programme adherence, and smooth contract administration contributed directly to the successful delivery of this landmark project — reinforcing LCG’s capability in complex, high-specification building supervision for internationally backed private sector clients in Laos.
